Just For Fun: Super Mario World Bowser’s Castle in Smash Bros Wii U

Quite some time ago I drew and arted a picture of Bowser’s Castle from Super Mario World, showing my idea for a neat Smash bros 4 stage.

Now, obviously, this has never actually materialized in Smash Bros. So I figured with the new Stage Builder, the time was ripe to try and create one myself!

As you can see, the layout of the roof is more or less correct. It’s in the finer details, such as the textures used that you have to allow for certain limitations in Smash Bros.

I used moving platforms to recreate the Koopa Clown Car flying around, though it only goes on a slight diagonal from left to right. There’s another one that slides out of the wall below the left-most structure.

For the most part I think I got this stage right. It really feels like you’re scaling a castle.
